Here is a good informational article for those who aren’t familiar with this legislation. According to a blogger with TIME magazine, in one year the total number of abortions covered by Medicaid (including state programs) is 81, meaning only about $32,000 was spent nationwide on the procedure. It’s really more like an “Ender’s Game” sort of thing in which (spoiler alert) you are messing with the actual California budget in real time.
I’m reblogging for the “Ender’s Game” reference. And because I hate the cuts to education, but I acknowledge the difficulty one faces with a budget like this. I don’t think I could ever come up with something to satisfy myself, nonetheless the entire state.
